Formally a Red Fire Alarm Box faded to hot pink over time and neglect. The wall behind it suffered the same fate. But when I came across it along the Brooklyn Waterfront, it was love at first sight. It reminds me of an old grandfather clock from my childhood, hence the name.
This image is mounted on the emulsion side of a polaroid. I do this because I like the look of the instructions on one side and the dried emulsion on the other. This method of presentation is unique to my work.
